Q & A
Hello, All of our custom ultralight full suspension backpacks now have removable hip belts.
LiteAF answered on November 6, 2024 store managerHello Cj,
The LiteAF UltraWeave™ 46L Curve Full Suspension Custom Backpack can only be ordered with the options available on our website, but I suppose you could remove the hip belt and feed the fanny pack strap through the sleeve for the hip belt. I wouldn't recommend this, but I guess it could work.
Thanks for the question!
LiteAF
Hi Susan, Liquid earth is available in our ECOPAK line of packs and will also be available on Friday May 25th on our line of packs that we are releasing in Dyneema.
LiteAF answered on May 21, 2024 store managerHi Melissa, The fabric is 100% waterproof and the pack is fully seam taped but we always recommend using a Nylofume pack liner with all of our pack. Nylofume pack liners are available on our shop all page.
Thanks,
LiteAF

As an avid hiker and outdoor enthusiast, I’ve had the pleasure of using the LiteAF 46L Full Suspension pack extensively, especially during winter expeditions. The craftsmanship and quality of this backpack are truly remarkable. The ultralight design doesn’t compromise durability, making it a reliable companion for any wilderness adventure. The spacious 46L capacity provides ample room for my winter gear, and the full suspension system ensures a comfortable and supportive carry, even with heavier loads.
The LiteAF 46L has become an integral part of my winter packing setup. The waterproof and abrasion-resistant materials inspire confidence in challenging conditions, while the thoughtful design allows for efficient organization of my gear. From snow-covered trails to rugged terrains, this pack has proven its resilience over a year of extensive use.

I’m in love with this very well put together backpack, I’ve had a lot of other brands that didn’t hold up to my high standards for gear, this one is top of the line. Thanks Lite AF. See ya at trail days.

This pack is my favorite one to date!
I have 3 LiteAF packs and I just ordered my sons second pack yesterday. I went with the ultra 200 46L full suspension for my son and i’s thru hike of the Pct in 23. I wanted a little more capacity from my 40L and I wanted the aluminum stays so I could carry some of my sons weight (he was 11) comfortably. You notice the aluminum stays (frame) by their ability to shift weight only, otherwise you wouldn’t know they were there at all. I also had the ultra for my previous pack and it is such a huge upgrade in stability and durability from my dyneema pack. the extra padding in the back piece is a huge luxury. I also really love the taller side pockets and upper stretchy side pockets. Perfect organization without having a whole lot of unnecessary compartments. We only made it 50 miles on the Pct but this pack carries like a dream and I have no doubts at all it will hold up on our second PCT attempt this year! Along with my sons new 40L full suspension. Somehow Build quality continues to excel with each pack I buy. If your thinking about buying one, don’t think, just do!!

I recently purchased a 46L full suspension pack from LiteAF and broke it in on my very last section hike of the Ozark Highlands Trail in Arkansas last week. To be upfront this is actually my 3rd pack from Chris having purchased my 1st 35L frameless pack in January 2019 not long after Chris started LiteAF. I reached out to him and told him that I was interested in buying a pack from him but was also interested in a Zero from Zpacks.. needless to say Chris convinced me into going with LiteAF which I’ve been a greatly satisfied customer ever since. The 46L was super comfortable and has ability to take out the aluminum bars if you want to go frameless. The shoulder pads are extra thick and the non-removable hip pad as well very comfortable.
If your seriously interested in using a very well made pack that can withstand the hardships of being on trail and even having to bushwhack… then LiteAF is the company your looking for and take my word for it… you won’t regret it !!!
